Privacy notice

What we keep

• Your account and public profile: name, city, bio and settings.
• Your archive: records, photos, collections and private notes.
• Your swaps and sales: rounds, messages, tracking references, outcomes and ratings.
• Your want list and the matches computed from it.

Who sees what

• New exlibris start private. Only you see private records, notes and prices.
• A public exlibris shows on its collection page and in the catalogue. Link-only collections are visible to anyone with the link.
• Matches are computed on our server and never reveal a private exlibris to anyone.
• Messages and swap rounds are visible only to the two collectors in them, and to a moderator when a problem is reported.

Why we keep it

• To run your archive, the catalogue, swaps, sales, matches and notifications.
• To keep swapping safe: ratings, reports and automatic pauses.
• We do not sell personal data and we show no advertising.

Your rights

Under the EU General Data Protection Regulation you can ask for a copy of your data, correct it, take it with you or have it deleted. Settings has a one-click personal data export.

Deletion anonymises you on completed swaps so other collectors keep their ratings.

AI features

• Scan with AI and the assistant are Premium features and do nothing until you use them.
• When you use Scan with AI, a photo of your own exlibris is sent to an AI processor that proposes fields such as the artist, the owner named on the plate and the FISAE code. Nothing is saved until you accept it.
• The assistant receives your question and only the public catalogue data or your own records it needs to answer.
• The processor works under no-training and no-retention terms. It does not train on your photos or questions and does not keep them.
• We name the processor here before the AI features are switched on.
